A Reason to Give Thanks

As Thanksgiving approaches it is a good idea to remember one of the greatest reasons we have to give thanks.

They are far from home.  They have left behind mothers and fathers, husbands and wives, and sons and daughters.  The do not want to be there, but they have volunteered to be there.

This holiday season, let’s remember why they are there, who they are doing it for, and be truly thankful we have them.  They are the best of us.

Xerox is sponsoring letssaythanks.com to support the troops.  You can go to this site and pick out a card and they will print it and deliver it to a member of our armed forces serving far from home.  It costs nothing but a few minutes of your time.  You can also read some of the top messages that have been sent to our troops.  I was especially touched by some of the messages of thanks coming back from our troops.  They are truly grateful to get our support.

Go to the link below and show your support.  Don’t they deserve it?

LET’S SAY THANKS

God Bless each and everyone of these brave men and women.
