About This Site
When the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776 they set upon a path to do something many would have thought impossible. When a few years later the framers of the Constitution set about to create “…a more perfect union…” they created out of whole cloth a nation built on a concept of the natural rights of man and their relationship to government that had never been tried.
The Right Viewpoint is dedicated to preserving those principles of governance and liberty. I believe that we can still return to those original ideals if we educate ourselves and our fellow citizens on those original ideas and make them the bedrock for an American rebirth of liberty. America has drifted too far from that foundation and must be brought back.
The Right Viewpoint seeks to educate, inform and enlighten the reader. But more than that, I hope we give cause for thought and reflection. I invite you to feel free to exercise your right to be heard through your comments. I hope we can build a community of thoughtful, like-minded citizens dedicated to the idea that our founding fathers had it right and we need to return to those principles.
